I just puked in my mouth.

And not just a little.

My throat burns.

I actually got to watch this particular show and no sooner than Rosie got her rant completed, the first thing that came out of my mouth to my wife was "I wonder how many in the media will pick up on the fact that Rosie just called our troops terrorists". Well, they heard the same thing I heard and Rosie can't justify it no matter how many people she tries to get say "Do you believe I really think :blahblah: ..."

The view became about Rosie EVERYTHING. There was one show where they were talking about depression (the one where Rosie hung upside-down as a method for controlling depression). Everything someone said they had (depression, dyslexia, AADD, abused as a child, you name it) Rosie had it too. Everything had to be about Rosie. She demands to be front and center on everything. The View was no longer The View. It was THE ROSIE.

Consider this one other thing... Rosie seems to suffer from every mental ailment known to man. This might explain a lot about her undisciplined behavior.

And prior to Rosie, it was the STAR JONES show when she lost all her weight.

You should not criticize people that openly admit they suffer from depression because it is a hard illness to deal with. In addition, people who are AADD/ADHD are more likely to suffer from depression.

:drama: Rosie has suffered from every malady afflicting mankind(ooops HUMANkind) and has had it worse than anyone who has ever been born(except maybe Oprah)

You shouldn't criticize them?

You mean just about their depression, or at all.

'Cause if I'm reading correctly, it wasn't her depression or AD*D being criticized. It was her incessant tendancy to make every topic about her.

And people who do that definitely should be criticized.

I used to do that myself... Thank heavens I don't any more. Instead I focus on the music. Who wants to hear what music I'm listening to!? Guess what I did this weekend.

How bout this.
Have an HBO pay per view of Rosie" O'Donnell vs Ann Coulter and would include topics such as abortion.
I just might pay to watch that
The promoters can call it "The Lez vs the Reb" :lmao:

...is difficult in our nation anymore because when people start quoting historical figures and references, the building blocks of an argument and a reason, we, the people, no longer have any idea what they are talking about.

I mean, when people start throwing out 'Marbury v. Madison', quoting Yates and Emerson and Plato and Socrates and saying things like 'manifest destiny' we're like "Hey, what kinda manifold that ##### say she's running?"

:lmao:

That is the source of establishing what you think and why; history, knowledge, education, and we no longer hold our public figures responsible for explaining themselves and then we accuse THEM of being all show and no go.

Another fat, lazy (lezzy) celebrity has the same malady. Roanne Barr can't read about a disease without admitting she has had it too. Including suppressed memory, sexually abused (yeah, imagine someone hitting that), and every other front page celeb-disease.

If you knew exactly when and where a (lets say) a train wreck or a bad ending to a Bull Fight might occure would you choose not to watch? That is now one essence of todays TV news reporting and would argue they are only supplying the publics appetite. Not a surmone, just a thought

What she said was that we invaded Iraq and 600,000-some Iraqi civilians are dead and WHO are the terrorists?

Personally, her meaning was clear to me but other people can decide for themselves.

Having lived thru Ali vs Frazer and 60 Minutes Point Counter Point that might help explain my anology of verses. But I read you as reading between the lines just a little to more then necessary. Not a surmon, just a thought.

Would THIS face lie?
And the saga continues
Make sure to read the comments at the end....
"I just think that when those that go around ranting and raging suddenly say more than they intended, they have to do all they can to divert the attention off what they themselves said or did. Instead of just standing up and taking responsibility for what she said and either saying "yes, I meant what I said" despite how bad it was or "I over reacted and made an ridiculous statement," Rosie instead chose to attack a younger, smaller pregnant woman and make it Elisabeth's responsibility to explain the unexplainable. What a coward!"

...I guess I'm getting old. There is a new show on MTV that is specifically about extreme sports injuries and I won't watch it. When I was younger I'd be like 'cool!'

But you make a valid point.

I’m not criticizing her because she suffers from depression. I criticize her because, for someone that has depression, is showing very little sign of or desire to controlling her outbursts. I wanted to hear more about the subject on that particular show but Rosie couldn’t shut her mouth long enough for anyone else to get their story out. It all had to center around her.

People that suffer from depression are in real pain and typically can empathize with others and their feelings and pain. Rosie seems devoid of both of these: 1) in real pain and 2) Empathy towards others. She is hateful, spiteful and lacking in any real ability to care about others. If these are her symptoms of her depression (and ALL the other ailments she claims she suffers) then she truly does need help and should get that help to get her emotions under control before entering into such an arena (IN FRONT OF MILLIONS OF PEOPLE) again. Otherwise she will continue to be nothing more than a circus act.
