In My Opinion
So, at work is this personage around the age of 35 or so, he insists on calling me "Sir"
How are you today SIR
yes SIR
no SIR
can I kiss your ass some today SIR

I dont like it.

so Ive asked a couple times that he does not call me sir, it works for a day or so then he goes back to the sir thing. I blame his parents for raising him that way.

anyway, the other day Im standing there squeezing a fart in so it cant escape around others,,,, I know,, blame my parents.
He is there.

him.
How are you today sir

me,,

riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiipppppppppppppppppppppppppp!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

does that sound like something that someone deserving the respect of sir would do?

him,
NO

me
Then, can you stop calling me sir? Ill make a deal, you dont call me sir, and I wont foul your work area ok?

him
ok.

As I start to walk off he says, enjoy your day..........SIR.

so, I farted again.

you think he will ever learn?

As long as it's not a hot young babe (and as long as she's not tied to your bed at the time) don't worry about it.

Hey, it's an inherent thing you get when you're raised.

I use it on 18 - 21 year old kids I work with; they don't know what the heck to make of it! :lmao: They just give you a funny/confused look!:killingme

How insanely rude and ignorant. Everyone knows that the appropriate response to "Don't call me 'sir'" is "No prob, #######!"

I knew a fast food restaurant where they did training for all the stores of that chain in the area. They called everyone "sir" or "ma'am," even each other. It's also a southern thing....my severely lacking in manners nephews moved to Georgia. They call everyone "sir" or 'ma'am" now...even while still being rude little monsters.
