What's an encrypted account? That's not how you refer to a bank account. Sounds like the kid might have invested in some crypto currencies, most of which is done via services outside the US to avoid regulation. That doesn't point to anything nefarious, it does put another notch on the "he's just an idiot" bedpost.

it was VERY early on when I quoted that and still in the "fog" of details. I took it as possible overseas accounts and it looks like it was some kind of messaging account.
