Oil Pump question

my oil pressure in my gmc jimmy ranges 10-20 after i drive for a while(an hour or so). seems low to me, but it may not be and hasn't caused me problems yet.
don't fix it if it aint broke.

I have an oil light that is supposed to come on when something is wrong with smoething to do with oil. If it ever comes on I think I'm supposed to pull over and stop the engine and if it were to happen, I'd call someone (generally while trying not to freak out). I use regular oil, not oil light. And I think I have to keep my oil light in my truck, I don't believe its transferrable. :shrug:

Please somebody, clue me in. Is Dems real? I just cannot believe she is not an MPD. I know that Camily and others claim to have met her, and Aps is always hitting on her, but some of the stuff she posts is just impossible to believe.

Am I just so gullible that I've fallen for the "Dems is real" line, or is she actually a real person, and these posts are actually real?

Ohhh ok, ya' got me... I give up my charade, I'm done, I confess. I'm really aps in real life. :yay: All of y'all have been duped. It was fun while it lasted :frown:

Just a followup for whatever its worth or if someone else has the same symptoms... Took the truck to the shop this weekend and my problem turned out to be a short in the wire that was on the sending unit. The oil pump was just fine and pumped 40 at idle, it was the sending unit not the pump :clap:

You're all F'in Mad...
The oil pump doesn't create the oil pressure anyway. If your engine loses oil pressure, the least of your worries is the oil pump. Glad it was electrical! :cheers:
