Naked bike you NEED Gerbings or Widder electric gear to ride this time of year. Or at a minimum GOOD winter riding gear, but I don't think they make anything that will cut the wind on a long ride without a fairing of any kind.

Hope you at least have the heated grips.

Tech day (BMW only) 2 Feb at Battley's Cycle (Gaithersburg). Learn about your brakes, suspension.. learn how to do your own services... etc.. etc.. Watch about 15 - 20 other people tear into their bikes.

Ride safe, but mostly ENJOY.. That is one hell of a ride, and a very nice looking bike, and congrats!

You need a drool rag, Bob?

Find a photo of Moses' bike - that's the one that I want. :yay:

Enjoy your new bike, sak. You'll really love it when the weather warms up a bit. :zoomzoom:

I was right, Moses sold the bike you liked.. He now has a black and yellow GS..

SAK:

I haven't taken ANY of the new K bikes out for a ride. I've ridden all the R's, but i don't want another payment. I've heard too many good thing's about the new K's, and I'd hate to have to buy one because I rode one.

I do understand that the K-R corners like a dream at speed...

I can see a track day in your future!!

And just for BG..

Of all the bikes we've had at the house, THIS was her favorite.

2002 R1200C in black and Yellow..

motor was unbalanced and 'de-engineered' to give it a cruiser feel and only 50HP..

I so love that bike. :swoon:

If I had a bike like that, I'd wash him every day and tell him how much I love him, and wisper sweet nothings into his exhaust pipe.

I can't quite make it out... what it that chrome dohickey from the front fender to the top of the motor?
