Congrats :yay: nice bike.
I like the angled fork guards

Those aren't guards (I think)..

The 1200R doesn't have 'forks' in the traditional sense.. the handlebars do not connect to the front tire directly..

Hossack/ Duolever suspension..

I can't quite make it out... what it that chrome dohickey from the front fender to the top of the motor?

That actually runs back onto a shock absorber.

That's the teleLever suspension on the 1200c

OK, I like the styling element added by the yellow plastic pieces bolted onto the part that connects the axle to the bike.

and :smack:

Didn't think those were covers, until I looked closer.. The arms that they cover look like they are almost the same shape.

Please refrain from using jargon like "forks". Please use the technically correct terms and or descriptions. It is so unseemly :whack:

Po-ta-to po-ta-to po-ta-to

better?

I know it's hard to keep up technically, I'll try to keep it light.

No talk about ABS, or catalytic converters.. or shaft drives.. or modern day suspensions.. or performance..

I was speaking to APS not you. I didn't want him to hurt your tender feelings by saying crude things like "Forks" or "Shocks" instead of "Hossack" "Duolever" or "Telelever". It is an afront to you that goobers speak of "handlebars" instead of "Symmetrical tube type steering leverage multipliers" or "brakes" instead of "hydraulic actuated friction increasing velocity arrestors."

I'm sorry, didn't mean to hurt your feellings..

And if you were 'speaking' to APS, and APS only, maybe you should try the PM button..

Again, sorry if I made you cry.. Tissue?

I quoted him. Tampon? You mean an "Absorbent natural fiber leak management devise"? No thanks, you can keep yours, I doubt you can reach the string anyway.

In my case, that would be "proportionally metered, linked, hydraulically actuated front and rear friction inducing velocity arrestors", but I usually settle for "stoppers". Hope this helps,

Oh yeah, well my new bike will have "proportionally metered, linked, hydraulically actuated front and rear friction inducing velocity arrestors with electrically actuated pulsators to prevent over-friction"

Enough PC nonsense. It is the same as saying, hydroceramic engineer...

Bottom line.. That's a SWEET ride..

Hope you have thousands of happy, satisfied, safe miles on it.

Not a big noise fan, but understand that bike can sound down right mean with a slip on exhaust (catalytic eliminator)
