yes i was off today because i been in training for the past 2 weeks. so i needed a day off to rest and get myself together.

Two weeks is a long time to show up every day for a job. What time do you have to be at work, around 10:00 a.m.?

yes i went. and i waited about 7mins until my table was ready. it was excellent. and i would not like to discuss my job descript online. to many predators.

If you are going to pile on with the indignation why not get all the info. How long is your shift, how many days on, how many off, does it include any clean up/early arrival for prep time, how much fun is it catering to grumpy jackasses who peer down their snoots because you are merely a "server"who want more bread sticks PRONTO, how long was the training, was their a test involved like flashcards where you have to identify pasta by shapes in 3 seconds while assistant managers yell and throw pats of butter at you.

I have... it was hard work, physically. There were days I came home and my feet ached beyond belief and I would wake up in the middle of the night with leg cramps. I made great money at the time, in fact, my first 'real' job (as some so affectionately called it) was a huge pay cut. I hated the fact I had to work 10 days to make what I could make in 2-3 days waiting on tables, and I was bored beyond belief.

I think no matter what you choose to do as a job isn't as important as being good at it. JMO
