I went to public school.

I'm not chickening out of a subject. I don't really agree with Bush or his policies. But I don't think that we should, as a nation make fun of him. How do you think it looks to other countries that we are constantly mocking the leader of our country? Why don't you just shut up about him and do everything you can to make sure that he isn't re-elected? And I don't mean by making fun of him. Why don't you take a look at your first post. Doesn't seem exactly mature to me.

And just for future knowledge, I stay out of the political bs around here because my views are just that, MY VIEWS. I don't need to shove them down someone else's throat to feel validated.

I don't feel that I need to shove them down people's throats - I'm generally in defense mode on here from people that like to jump subjects and pick on my spelling or other unrelated crap. I know you are young but perhaps maybe you don't recall the other countries making fun of the leader of our country fueled by the republicans - does Clinton ring a bell???

They could only afford to teach you part of English and spelling? I had a friend who used to work at McGraw Hill. They had 2 production lines for English books. One for the rich Republican schools that was complete, and one for the poor Democrat schools that skipped every other page. I feel your pain and think it is wrong that poor schools get the "old English books" while the rich neighborhood schools get new English and math books. Look at the advances in English and Math over the last 20 years. In Math you have that algebra stuff that is way different than it was 20 years ago. In English they have those new things like "participles, pronouns" and so on that are not included in the old books.
