I would hope as a grandparent you're older than say 26..

I would also hope as a grandparent you made good choices in your life, and are probably in a better place financially than the young parents of the troublesome little tyke.

If they are a normal young couple it could be a serious hit to the budget to replace a $200 TV.. for the grandparents?? Skip a night of Bingo..

That's true too, my homeowners policy covers if my daughter were to go to someone else's house and break something, but then the deductible would probably be more than a small TV is worth. Now if she broke a Ming vase, it's probably worth it.

I guess the kind of loser who was laid off from their job and is on very limited income...the 2 year old big tv stopped working 2 weeks ago and resorted to using this small one for the time being until they can buy a new one when they get back to work. If it weren't for the situation I would never even question myself on what to do. Sorry, I can't just pop out $100 right now for a small tv to put on my stand let alone one to mount on my freaking wall.

Ok, serious.... I have a 19" tv (CRT, not HD) that you're welcome to have. Good condition.
