But you oughta see my BIG ..............................router!!

I don't think I have much time for freaky sex with babysitting. I can't watch tv in the evening anymore so I'll be going to bingo everynight after I fix my hairdo and gather my lucky charms.
Thanks for the opinions on a serious note. It may have sounded petty to some but with being laid off, now is not the time to have to buy anything unexpected or new. I honestly didn't want my daughter to cover it, I was "hoping" she'd get her louse ex (separated) to cover it. I wouldn't feel the LEAST bit guilty about getting anything from him.

Oh, so, finally, we get to the bottom of the matter, eh?

If you are babysitting your grandchild, and the grandchild pulls a small tv off the stand (thank God it didn't hit him) and it breaks. Who should be responsible for replacing the tv? Before anyone starts bashing me, I was 6 feet away getting his sippy cup, this happened in 30 seconds.

SERIOUSLY???? i cant believe you are even asking this. Reading this makes me SO THANKFUL my children have WONDERFUL grandparents that arent concerned with who would replace something ANY of their grandchildren broke. I would intend on replacing grandpa and grandma's 'whatever' was broken by my child, but neither sets of grandparents would EVER ASK for it to be replaced. Feeling blessed once again, thank you!!!

I didn't "ask", that was why I getting opinions on how to handle it. I'm watching the child here, saving them a good $400 to $500 a month on daycare. The ex is a louse and expected everything to be handed to them when they were together. His mother never even sees the child. They both took advantage of me before. I'm keeping him to help my daughter and because I love my grandchild. I'm in a 1 bdrm condo, laid off from work, it was my only tv & I don't have a husband. I did not ask her to replace it, I was wondering if people thought they should offer. I wasn't even thinking of a brand new one, just a used one (as someone suggested) to tide me through til I get back to work. I sure wasn't expecting a LCD and HD huge one for God's sake.

The adult in charge, of course!
