So you are selling these animals?

Who are you to sell someone elses property?
( I would think that all propert left behind becomes property of landlord..
if abondoned, its a crime and police should follow up....)
Why are you selling the dog and not the kittens?
What ya gonna do with the money you get for selling a shepard mix?

Just wondering.....

She is NOT selling them, just trying to find them good homes, rather than take them to the shelter.

Inky, I would think she just posted it under the wrong title. Sometimes people make mistakes. I have spoken with her, she is just mainly trying to find the kitties and dog a new home. She is not asking for money.

Good Luck Jackie! I am asking around, so far no takers, just about everyone I know has so many animals now it's starting to hurt the pockets. I know there are a lot of us who care out there, we're trying to help! :howdy:

:yay:

Needs a Home

You are correct, I'm not selling any animals nor would I ever. All of my animals are pretty much rescue animals (abused, shelter, unwanted by others). I am going to continue looking for good homes for the dog and kittens. Anyone who is serious is welcome to meet them. If you are serious, call me at 301-246-4348 after 5pm or my cell 240-682-1768. Thanks for caring, Jackie

Then why are you putting it out there that the dog is for sale?
You posted the ad...and it says, For Sale

Nasty owners moved out of their rental home and abandoned their dog and two chocolate kittens with no food or water. Fortunately, these animals love people and are very trusting and friendly. The dog is a young very friendly large cream colored shepherd mix with huge paws. Very loveable. Looking for loving homes for all three. We already have 4 dogs and 2 cats to feed on a small budget. Please, only nice animal people need to contact us. Call Jackie or Matt at 301-246-4348 or e-mail.

So...it says For Sale..and you say it is not for sale???
Rather confusing...hummm....

But heck...your ad...your words....
Why not turn them into the Tri-County shelter as FOUND?

The ad mentions no fee for any of the animals. You need to put your glasses on and reread what she has in that ad.

Maybe she's just not used to these classifieds. I think if you put it under the "animal" section, there's not an option for free, that's why it says "sale" and then for price "0."

There is a place for freebies that that's more of general merchandise...she probably figured people wouldn't look there for pets.

Also, if she's able to hold onto the pets while trying to place them, it's much better than sending them to Tri County where they will undoubtedly be exposed to illnesses and the trauma of being in that type of environment.

Maybe because they would probably end up killed???

Not so nice of people

Again, I would never sell nor purchase an animal. I have rescued and adopted pets from a shelter and abused situations. Some people do not look in the forum for pets to adopt so I put in the classifieds under pet section - I would not accept any money. I am furious to see some people's comments for helping an animal in need. Try rescuing and finding a home for an animal yourself - out of only your good graces and not greedy thoughts. Unbelievable - take a long look in the mirror maybe you may get a calling to actually feel enough to help someone or something who can't help themselves. Try volunteering or raising a fund drive. Your image only looks better and better to yourself and everyone around you.

Still Looking

I'm finding out more about the dog. He was neutered, he walks on a leash great, he is house trained, he needs to get used to other dogs (maybe because he is in a dog pen). He will not go to the bathroom in the dog pen (which is a 6' x 12' pen). We walk him 2x a day to go to the bathroom. He spins around the circles before he sits. Very playful. Loves children and people. I walked him, my husband walked him, and my kid walked him. There was no difference to how he acted with any of us. Very ppl. oriented. I am hoping we can find him a home very soon as well as the 2 kittens.

You seem to always be the one contributing nothing useful to threads.

I have an effin life- and 1bdz is bad azz, so you can tease all you want, I just wanted Jac to know she wasn't the target. Geez, stop taking everything so personally.:coffee:

Up yours. BS is awesome. And part of the reason these boards are well read by the community is the playful banter of the regulars. So you should be thanking her.

So where are the photos of these animals?
Why is he penned up?
Is he confined all day and night?
All you do is walk him?
Do you play with him at all?
How is he in the house, or has he ever been in your house?
How did you come to have these 3 animals?
Did you take them or did the landlord give them to you?
Where are the kittens being kept?

Has he been to the vet adn been checked for heartworm?
Is he on heartworm treatment?
Is he wormed?
Has he had his shots?

OK..Thanks for answering these important questions...:howdy:

...Than take them out of the For Sale section....and put them in the Pets..or Lost and Found...
You said you could not afford these animals...

And I do do rescue work and do not complain about the $$$.
Have rescued well over 158 animals in the past 8-11 years.
Lost count a while back.
And I do do fundraisers...did 2 in the past year, raised over 4 grand...

Dont rescue if you cant afford to do it.

If you cant afford the vet, you cant afford the pet.

Have a nice day... I am off to do help rescue an animal that was found in a dumpster..( new owners are coming to adopt it!!!) .and to volunteer all day cleaning animal cages for a rescue group. :howdy:

Gee, do you do this for the animals or for the pat on the back you are giving yourself?
