What is it good for? I tried Netflix but I did not like anything that I looked at and half the movies I already seen and then when I searched for a movie they did not have it so I cut ties with them.

Pretty sure Yellowstone (NOT 1883 or 1923) are only on the Paramount Network (Not +)

It's on Paramount regular but you can stream on Para+ and Amazon (for a fee).

I can't think of a reason why I'd pay for individual TV channels. That seems crazy. Even FoxNews+ - why would I pay for something like that?

Paramount+ is the home network for all CBS shows - NCIS (all 22 seasons and the spin off shows), FBI (all seasons for all 3 shows), SWAT (all Seasons), Blue Bloods (all seasons), Seal Team (all seasons), Mayor of Kingstown (all seasons), Tracker, Fire Country, Tulsa King, Halo, all 3 Quiet Place movies, etc., etc., etc.
If you like binge watching shows its a good place to start.

Hence the binge watching. I don't have to be the first on the block to see a show so I can watch the "new" show the next day on Paramount+.
I can watch on my time, not theirs.
That's why I'm finally watching Quincy M.D., every episode is available to binge.

Exactly. My SO and I have never watched Blue Bloods. During rerun season (which is about half the year) we have 14 seasons of that show that are new to us. If we like it after a few shows we continue. If not, we have lots of other shows we have never seen. We can watch them in the order they we provided to those who need to be paid to talk at the water cooler instead of doing real work. Since it is only $8.00 a month it is a great bang for your buck with network shows, original movies and live sports.

Apple is $10.00 per month and has quite a few decent movies as well as original series. Binge watched Silo, which was great, Napoleon is on there, Greyhound, Killers of the Flower Moon. I think there's a one week free trial going on at the moment.

Paramount is 8 dollars a month?

I originally got Paramount for no other reason than to watch the new Trek shows.

I'm unsure they were worth it having seen them all - the one standout is the single one remaining, "Strange New Worlds".

At this point, I only join when there's enough NEW series to watch - then promptly quit, again. Wife likes "Lioness" so we might rejoin for a short time. The price for just one or two months can easily match the cost of a single trip to the movies, usually less.

We only subscribe to STARZ when there's a complete season of Outlander - then we quit. MOST of the subscription channels don't have enough watchable original programming - at least for me - to continue paying for them.

I've also - sometimes - paid out more when there's an annual subscription BARGAIN, like around Christmas.
