Shame on you Mitzi. How dare you be empathetic. It's almost like you're a normal, feeling human being or something.
Thanks, I try to be.

Glad you did.More like calling him out.
Oh this is going to be a train wreck.
Oh this is going to be a train wreck.
Hopefully the ladies convinced LR to drop the shovel.
Not sure why you think I'm trying to argue with you or why you think I even addressed you specifically. I suppose you have me confused with that sanctimonious turd, which I do take exception to.I'm not debating or arguing with you. I said what I thought and that's it.
Would be a great name for a rock band.sanctimonious turd(s)
Right here -----> "Your daughter was in a relationship with the shooter"
For your consideration ...
Was not an assumption, but a reported fact! It's right there in the article linked in the very first post!
"Rollins, who authorities report had previously been in a relationship with Jaelynn Willey"
If you took the time to do some simple research and read other news stories about the incident, you would find that even Jaelynn's friends stated that the two were in a relationship.
Not to defend LR, but the court proceedings state they were. https://casetext.com/case/willey-v-bd-of-educ-of-st-marys-cntyI did think of that. News reports are known to have inaccurate information. I knew you would come back at me with this.

Here's the rub at least to me. "Rollins, who authorities report had previously been in a relationship with Jaelynn Willey". "Had previously been in a relationship" To me that means they were in a relationship and were no longer in a relationship. According to the court documents, she told him it was over and he continued to harrass her. She reported it to her parents, her parents reported it to the school. Seems to me that Jaelynn wasn't leading him on, she wanted to be left alone and she did what she felt was right as did her parents. Not to defend LR, but the court proceedings state they were. https://casetext.com/case/willey-v-bd-of-educ-of-st-marys-cnty
Was a bit torn on posting this, but I thought it was assumed that they were no longer in a relationship. After reading it I thought it important for anyone that has a daughter to know how this sort of thing happens. Here's the rub at least to me. If you're in a relationship and you tell the other party you no longer wish to remain in that relationship, is the other party allowed to harass you simply because you were in a relationship once upon a time. What I'm getting out of what he who shall not be named is saying is that the victim is somewhat complicit.

That court document was enough to make you cross-eyed.
Couldn't agree with you more. I didn't really understand the court documents, but I think all charges were dropped? I wonder what the school could have legally done? Search the shooter everyday, expel him, have everyone be on the lookout for him and report him if he managed to get on the school grounds, escort the girl everywhere she went? You're right, hindsight is 20-20.Was a bit torn on posting this, but I thought it was assumed that they were no longer in a relationship. Great Mills HS dropped the ball at every possible opportunity.
I remember a day or two before, one of my friends told me his kids claimed there was supposed to be a shooting at the school happening, then it happened.
In the 25 years I've lived here this is the saddest, most tragic thing I think has happened. Although hindsight is 20/20 GMHS really dropped the ball on multiple occasions IMHO.
I graduated HS in 92, I would have expected an ass beating if I pulled half this stuff. Sometimes a teenage boy needs his ass kicked or beat to straighten him out.Couldn't agree with you more. Were the parents ever sued? What happened to them?I'm gonna guess that that kid already had some things going on with him. Normal boys don't shoot someone over a breakup.
