I am not admitting that my company does this... I am saying in general that it is a fact... most women will say ok to anything without looking deeper into the situation. Men most likely know what to look for especially when it comes to vehicles.

And on a personal note.. as with any dealership most likely females are more likely to get scammed since most of them do not know the right questions to ask. Before I worked here I would have gotten hassled by sales of any place or even negotiations but now I know what to look for.

Dayum! Talk about sexism! If you were a guy, you'd be fired on the spot for #1 saying where you work (and what your job is) and #2 making this statement in what could be construed as defense of your company. Makes your company look REALLY bad. You may want to consider rewording your statement without the crass generalizations.

And secondly I never said what I do here... just that I work here.

Ugly women send me karma.
Studies show that attractive women will pay less than men at car dealers for service. So it look’s like the ones complaining here just didn’t make the cut or they would have got a better deal.

I actually find that quite insulting. So what you are saying is that if I don't find you attractive then I should give you less than honest service.

:yeahthat: Tried to swindle me as well. All I need was to have my OBDII light checked. Simple enough - run the diagnostics and read what the problem is. However, they then started to tell me that all of these "other problems" that were wrong with my Jeep. The total of these "other problems" $500.00+. During this disscussion with the service manager, my husband comes in to the dealership. I tell hubby what is going on. Immediately the service manager says, "oh sorry, wrong Jeep - nothing is wrong with your Jeep we reset your OBDII sensor". Funny thing is - we were the only Jeep in the service department that morning.

Is that all? Mine was about $1200.00... or was it $1500.00...

I brought mine in to check on getting the radio controls on the steering wheel checked b/c it stopped working. NOTHING more. About noon, I get a call telling me all sorts of things HAD to be fixed. I questioned everything he said and told him, lock it up and park it. DO NOT do anything to it.

Husband was up the road and unable to go in himself so PT picked me up and went in with me. I then asked the guy to please explain everything to my friend since he didn't think I had enough common sense to understand anything.

Silence. Dude clams up and agrees that I did not need to have the work done. He then had the balls to tell me I HAD to pay for the diagnositc they ran on it, without my persmission. I told him KMA and walked out.

:yikes: Holy crap! I thought my additional $500 was bad enough. I had a dealership back home try to trick me into paying for a recall on my mini-van.

We did print out this thread and others. We take comments seriously and like with all businesses, every customer will not be satisfied. Some people have good experiences and some have bad ones. That is also why we have comment cards for customers to fill out. Mr. Dillard, the owner, takes all of the comments seriously, he takes his business seriously and will do his best to resolve any problems.
The boss probably already knows if he read this, but James T. in the service dept. took care of me. :yay: I'm very satisfied. Sorry others have had problems  but why did you wait until now to voice your opinions? One person is biatching about a vehicle they no longer own
