Patrick Ramsey cannot move to save his life; that is the reason for the sacks. His legs seem to be weighted down by cement or something. I am damn glad that Brunell will be starting this season.

I agree with you on this -- It was quite painful to watch him try to run... kind of like George Mirazhan (sp?) that played for the wizards several years back. I'd wince everytime he'd run from one side of the court to the other.

Yeah the Ravens were smart enough to sign Kordell Stewrat.. IDIOTS..

It doesnt matter who they sign at QB, who is he going to throw to? Todd Heap is the only reliable option, but at tight end he is not a deep threat.

I play in a football "survey" so I was wondering if you can tell me B'more's pre-season record or of any injuries or anything offhand -- TIA :flowers:

Thanks :flowers: It doesn't appear that they had any challenging teams to play against during preseason -- I think against a team like Detroit they would have been able to score more than 17 points. :ohwell: Thanks if there's any chance in me winning on this "survey" it generally happens early on in the season before teams establish winning records, because then it usually comes down to monday night points and you have around 50 people that all have the same teams as you. I'll hop over to the Vegas Odds webcite I like. Thanks again!

I personally dont think the preseason really matters, considering the short amount of time the starters actually play, historically it is hard to argue. Here are the superbowl winners preseason records.

1994, the 49ers went 3 – 1.
1995, the Cowboys went 2 – 3.
1996, the Packers 3 – 1.
1997, the Broncos went 3 – 2.
1998, the Broncos went 3 – 1.
1999 the Rams went 2 – 2.
2000 the Ravens went 4 – 0.
2001 the Patriots went 3 – 1.
2002 the Buccaneers went 3 – 1.
2003 the Patriots went 4 – 0.

I agree -- but I think its safer to go with the stats then by using my luck... that's why I look at the Vegas odds too. Thanks!

just wondering -- do y'all still feel the same way about Booonell

The were saying on the radio that his completion percentage is not correct, they forgot to include all the completions to people on the sidelines.... :killingme:

They call me ... Sarcasmo
Brunell is playing like a rookie qb, locking on to one receiver, throwing into double coverage. Maybe there IS a reason he was riding the pine last year. We can't lay it all on the qb though, the O line needs to step it up a bit, and for cripes sake, if the ball hits your hands you should catch it! (I bet Rod Gardner doesn't read these forums.) :lmao:

I think its a moral problem at this point... why shoudl the O line step it up if time and time again, it's an incomplete pass, an interception or the QB can't seem to throw it higher than the defenders  That's why if Patrick Ramsey come's in - he'd be the spark for that offense as I've been saying all along... Patrick

Give me a break. Ramsey doesn't have a clue yet on how to read a defense as has been proven by his constant audible calls of last year that had everyone confused, even his own team, resulting in what I would say is close to the all time record for QB sacks. Good looks (which I certainly don't see in any manner) do not make a QB.

Brunnell is learning a new system, hasn't been 100% physically, and has a couple of receivers with hands made of bricks (or haven't figured out the left-handed spiral).

Given time I say he will mix well with the team and once everyone does their job without putting the ball on the ground the Skins just might have something. One thing I will say for him is he will get rid of it without eating it like Patrick has done in the past. I think before bringing in Ramsey I would give Hassleback (sp?) a try.

hasselback had a good preseason and I would even like to see him instead of Brunnell again. I have actually grown to hate seeing our offense on the field at this point. :frown:

I prefer to see Patrick Ramsey -- he took a lickn' last year with 30 sacks -- The term became "Saving Patrick Ramsey"
I think he should at least start the first game and see how he does. I think its a loyalty thing.

*BUMP* Was just wondering if all the Brunell backers have switched camps and now would like to see Ramsey
