"I've got"

Everyone says it and it irks me to no end. When I'm reading a book and one of the characters says "I've got..." I zero in on it and get triggered.

FTR it's "I have...." or "I got..."

I have a puppy.
I got a puppy.

Not "I've got a puppy", which translates to "I have got a puppy" and that's wrong.

:cartwheel
Go to Walmart and Axe them what they think.

"Learnt". You mean, "learned" 'cuz there's no "T" in that word. Right? I am correct?? Oh, and "no problem", when thanking someone. I don't care if it's your problem, or not. I was being cordial.
That's the one that always gets me. "No problem" instead of you're welcome. Whenever I worked a register and a customer said TY, I would reply with, "No. Thank you!"

I HATE "no problem" and when I had my store(s), during an interview I would tell the prospective employee that I never wanted them to say "no problem" as a response. And if "no problem" was in their vocabulary, they needed to remove those two words and get used to saying "you're welcome", "my pleasure" etc.
