Yes, about 50 or so years ago. Then dealt with numerous other county government entities over the years for approvals and inspections. The phrase I heard most in my years as one was " NO, we can't do that"

This is why I internally sneer at people who automatically revere someone who's served in the military. I'm super pro-military too, but not to the point I think they're all saints or even competent. Anyone who's actually been in the military will tell you there are enlistees who are dumber than dogshit, who steal, who commit violent crimes. Heck, we see them on the news. So when a member of the military does something wrong and people rush to attack anyone who criticizes them, my brain makes that face.
The Dembots only like Milley because he hates Trump. If he were a hero and patriot they'd hate his guts.
