i went over to my daughters' mama's house to night to pick them up and thier younger sister came in saying that one of the dogs were dead,by the way shes 7.well when i went out there i found the dog laying on the ground chained up and realized that the dog died of starvation and exposure.the other dog is chained and you can see its ribs and pelvic bone. i yelled at everyone and told them to get food, the poor thing ate 3 cans of moist food and i didnt want to let him eat more for fear that it might do more harm than good. im thinking on going back tomorrow and just take the dog and bring her here. if i do what is the best and fastest way to get the dog weight back up?

oh i would have take it tonight but the dog belongs to someone who was living there and is now in n.c. with her sick ex but right now i hope i don't regret not taking it and sayiny that if she give me #### ill report her to the spca.

 So this is the mother of your daughter, and these dogs are hers?
:yeahthat: If that is the case..I would be worrying about more than just the dogs.

I just called Jack. No answer. So Jack, if you want to get the dog tomorrow, put it up for a few days, and bring it here when you come down. Pal needs a friend anyway. I know I will regret this later, but...

Also, as they said above, if the dogs are one indication, how are J & J doing? I'm guessing the dogs aren't G's, but to let a dog starve in your backyard, because it's not yours, and the owner went to N.C.? That's a good indication of values...

But wait, there's more...
UFB  why would someone even bother with getting a pet they don't want to take care of? why accept the "hassle"? :burning:

:yeahthat: And so help me God, if that were my daughter's mother's dogs, I'd question her ability to care for my daughter.

But your ex was responsible for taking care of them?

Good luck, 16 years old is pretty old for a dog. So, how long has she been taking care of them?
