People have lost their ever loving minds

I have only been back 3 days and everytime I drive by the Brusters Ice Cream joint there are 200 people in line for ice cream and cars all up and down the road because the parking lot is full.

WTF?

It sounds pretty good to me.....a fresh baked waffle cone:drool: ....the smell alone would drive me nuts...

"Heaping scoops of real ice cream, with more than 30 fresh flavors to choose from...
Giant chunks of your favorite ingredients...

All housed in a crunchy vanilla waffle cone that’s baked to perfection right in our store!

And the waffle doesn't stop there — you can get your sundae in a freshly baked waffle bowl."

It's ice cream for pizz sakes! WTF wants to stand in line for 40 minutes for a stinking ice cream cone?
Not me but someone will. It must be really good, they were packed all weekend when I drove by a few times.

Not sure how true this is, as I have not gone there personally, but I was told that 1 scoop of icecream on a cone is $3.00 :faint:

Took the lil one to Carousels in Leonardtown this past weekend and one scoop was only $1.99 and it was delicious :yum:

We were going to go there opening day for an ice cream, but saw the crowd and I guess DR figured I was NOT gonna negotiate that real well on the bike, so we went to the Jags thing and had us a beer.

Early Bird 2 bucks for a cone as big as a small childs head.:yay:
Haven't been there for icecream since the new owners took over. Whenever we did go there 9 times out of 10 there was a heard of chitlins from a baseball team there after a game. A couple of times, they ran out before we even got to the counter :ohwell:

Good ice cream, but worst location. Stopped in there on Friday evening. People parked along both sides of the road and waiting on the shoulder to get in the drive through line really made it difficult to see to get out. Almost in the travel lane before I could see if anything was heading my way or not. Too many people and kids running loose in the parking lot...and the parking lot is very cramped. While you are trying to back out, people are rolling off the road at a good clip. Somebody is going to go bouncing one day.

What's wrong with your bike?
I was going up RT 4 about 140 and the engine blew, scattering chunks of metal down the road..

I needed to get the 5000 mile service before I leave for Florida.

Same ice cream, maybe not as big as the old owners.

I think while everyone is standing in line I'll go to Early Bird and get my icecream, eat it, and get home while they are still waiting :yay:
