No way! What happened was I stopped, and went to put my foot down and my pants got caught up in my peg....went right over in front of like 3 cars! But at least I didnt do it in front of the BMW guys or Aps....I dont think I would ever live it down if I had....cattitude said:You weren't talking on your cellphone, were you?

That sucks.. especially since we were talking about it at Lunch.. drop the bike and the first thing you do is jump up, look around to see who is watching.. doing in traffic is REAL embarassing, but at least with gear on, nobody will recognize you in a store!thakidistight said:No way! What happened was I stopped, and went to put my foot down and my pants got caught up in my peg....went right over in front of like 3 cars! You should have left it laying, then jumped up and down on the side of it like a madman.thakidistight said:No way! What happened was I stopped, and went to put my foot down and my pants got caught up in my peg....went right over in front of like 3 cars! I saw you in the rearviews stopping at the GMR light, but missed your fight with gravity. DoDo happens. Glad you're OK.thakidistight said:But at least I didnt do it in front of the BMW guys or Aps....I dont think I would ever live it down if I had....
The only part that sucked about the whole week-end.. Saturday was spent tooling up and down 235 to get all the stuff for the BBQ, Sunday AM was the same.. I didn't get ANY bike time, except a short ride to Pt Look Out last night with my daughter.. and there were so many deer on the side of the road was going nowhere fast.morganj614 said:I saw so many bikes on the road coming home from N.C. yesterday. Were you riding on Bel Alton-Newtown Rd on Saturday at noon? (It connects Route 6 to 301 bypassing La Plata). I just don't see too many blue and white YZF-600's around here...ylexot said:Sorry I didn't make it. I just have too many projects that I'm working on. This weekend, I was working on stripping/refinishing my Ruger 10/22. I'm done all the hard work. Next weekend, I'm putting laminate flooring down in the bedroom.

I've almost done that same thing before, but I managed to catch myself. That was back in my squidly days when I was wearing Vans instead of Alpinestar's or Sidi's.
Well at least you don't have a bunch of bodywork thats cracked nowthakidistight said:The guy in the turn lane right next to me had quite a chuckle after he saw me get up and start pulling my bike back up (maybe because he could hear my *ahem* frustration, even through my helmet and his closed windows)!
Nope. I haven't made it out of the neighborhood yet.dustin said:Were you riding on Bel Alton-Newtown Rd on Saturday at noon? (It connects Route 6 to 301 bypassing La Plata). I just don't see too many blue and white YZF-600's around here...
