Men  They just don't understand.

Ahem...

You may want to retract that statement.
Maybe we men feel the same but react differently?
I don't like having a weight problem. It burns me up when I can work hard for weeks to lose a few pounds, and then fall off the wagon 1 or 2 days and gain it all back.

Women always claim "men can lose weight so much easier". Newsflash. I can lose weight easier, mind you, but I can also pack it on a helluva lot quicker.

I way 3-6 pounds more at the end of the day than when I start. Bugs the heck out of me.

But don't just assume that men aren't sensitive about their weight. We just react with a more quiet embarrassment.

Well you have to expect things like this when you drink a case of beer at lunchtime.

If that were only true...
But this happens on a typical day... no beer. Average sized meals.

Slow digestion or something.

24 x 12 oz/beer = 288 oz..
288 oz. / (16 oz./lb) = 18 lbs...

Naah... he's only drinking about 8 beers at lunchtime...

I've heard this a million times, but I never fully understood the drastic truth of this statement until my wife gave up Dr Pepper.

And lost about 20 pounds in less than 3 months.

I #### you not.

(and she would have kept losing the weight too untill I started mixing chocolate into her coffee and bacon into her mashed potatoes to make it stop)

Diet Cherry Coke.

Stay away from Sodas... Seriously. Any other beverage that's high in sugar too. It will make a huge difference...

What's the ingredient that causes it? Caffeine?

I drink a lot of tea during the day with splenda, equal, or nutrasweet, in that order, depending on what's available.

But it's "Diet" Cherry Coke...
It doesn't have sugar... just aspartame.

Same thing for a friend of mine who gave up Coke.. He lost like 50 lbs in like 3 months. He use to drink like 3 or more a day. That's like over 100 grams of sugar a day, just in the Cokes... :barf:

The sugar in a regular soda. A soda has 150 calories (??) in it, drinking a few a day packs the weight on.
