Try having her tilt her head forward while taking it, goes down much easier....

Just don't tell her that I got this "trick" after watching my mom give her dog a pill the same way :lmao:

Carbonated water or soda also works real good

To this day... I put the water in my mouth first... tilt my head back as if to gargle.. then drop a pill in and swallow in one motion...

Works perfectly almost every time. Never gag or taste the pill going down.

Tilting your head back actually closes your throat.. If you tilt your head at all it should be tilted forward....

It works for me. :shrug:
Guess that's why the water stays in there until I drop the pill in.
Soon as I swallow, everything goes down at once... never taste a thing. Never gag on the pill. Works perfectly.

I'm 26 and still have a hard time swallowing pills. It will take me forever to get a Motrin down. Just something I've always been afraid of. :ohwell:
