Had two. Down to one rat terrier now and she's almost 20 years old.

I did the hardwood laminate in my kitchen, dinning room and down the hall. The living room is going to get real hardwood, maybe next year.

That looks wonderful. Your living room will look great with wood flooring, too.

I don't have a specific picture of my kitchen, but the Bruce hardwood flooring runs throughout the breakfast nook, kitchen, living room, and entry way which is sort of a big open area so you get the general idea. This is looking at the breakfast nook:

My two cents: If you're going to keep the walls a pale (eggshell) color, then I would definately recommend a darker floor - anything light-colored would make it washed out, pale and boring. Definately go with a darker color (vrai recommended the Luray Autumn which, in my opinion, is the better choice).

I am a new fan of vinyl flooring for the kitchen that looks like wood.

Catt's right about the wood floors, though - a farmhouse should look like a farmhouse.

I'm agreeing with you. If not wood then the Luray will look great and hide dirt. The last one was too dark and the fake brick is yucky and too light.

Nanny, I have 300 pounds of dogs...I did their room in the Dupont Laminate that I posted earlier in the thread. It's tough...I love it.
