Pit Bull Attack!!!!!!

Loper

Animal Poor!
So for all you pit bull lovers out there, make no mistake, there WILL be one less pit bull in Callaway. That is all.

SoMDGirl42, I am very sorry you have had to deal with this! I hope your dog recovers and can't imagine the trauma for your poor doggie and what you will have to deal with in the days to come! :huggy:

I don't understand why you didn't make the owner pay the first go around? The owner should be shot and never allowed to own any breed of dog!

I don't understand why you had to single out pit lovers though? I am a pit lover and don't think I contributed to this attack at all.. Not all Pits are evil and not all pit owners are negligent!

The same with Chow, Rotties, Dobies, and all the other dangerous breeds.

I'll give you that. Thanks for the well wishes. I've explained before about how I didn't make her pay. Let me explain one more time. The last actual bite attack occurred on 9/15/05. I was pregnant (daughter delivered on 12/26/05) so ya'll can figure out exactly how many weeks that was, but around 6 months or so. My oldest daughter was nearly killed in a car accident on 8/24/05. She was wheel chair bound with a broken pelvis, broken back and other internal injuries causing her to be non weight bearing. At the time she had a preemie (in the car as well) that was born on 6/24/05 and weighed in under 8 pounds the day of the accident. So basically she was a newborn just home from the hospital.

I was pregnant, taking care of a critically injured daughter, caring for a preemie newborn and working full time. The fact of the matter is I had a lot on my plate and for my own sanity and health of myself and my unborn child I let it drop after months and months of aggrevation.

Lets just say, this time I have a lot on my plate, I'm still recovering from two major surgeries less than 6 weeks ago, but if it kills me, the owner will pay for this time, as well as the last!

These are some of the most severe bites. SHe has two drains near her jugular vein and some of the punture wounds on her legs.

All the red areas on her chest and neck is bruising.

the pics don't even do it justice. You can't see all the bites and bruising.

OK I am going to say something that might make a few people mad but I don't care.

There are more dogs shot and killed in this country that you will ever know. Do you know how many dogs that are shot by deer hunters when the dog is running deer. It usualy dont matter what type or whos it is eather. Wild dogs, coy dogs, dogs with collers their own dogs. Alot of hunters think that a dog that chases deer will never stop.

If you are suggesting that a stray bullet find it's way into the Pits head .... I fully agree.

Doesn't make me mad. The owners shouldn't be letting their dogs run loose in the woods.

No, I think he's saying that there are a lot of dogs shot and that nobody knows about. You know, there are a lot of people who let their dogs run loose.

Has the other dogs owner seen the damage that his dog did?

She refuses to answer the door to me or answer her phone. She's afraid I will beat her a$$ :lmao:

I'm about to print them out and plaster them all over her front door with the vet bills.

Buddy no longer breaks out of the electronic fence. He's been contained.

Exactly. While a horrible fate for the dog, it is the owner's responsibility to contain and properly care for the dog. It has NOTHING to do with what breed the dog is.

 That's a great idea! Plaster them all over her house and the neighborhood with her address.

I would mail them to her (certified mail) along with the bill and a letter explaining you want her to pay the bills in full.
