How about taking a trip up to Annapolis, walk around the waterfront. Fun thing to do especially with the warm weather and all.

:yeahthat: They have the greatest shops. Or go to Chesapeake Beach/North Beach or whatever it is called and walk around the antique stores.

Well, wait... Are you male or female? Females would like this.

Female... but I am really looking for things to do during the work week. Guess I should have said I work full time. I am just so use to a routine with my daughter that without her.. its almost as though I feel naked. I need something to occupy the time or I may just end up like "josieandmatt".

Maybe you can pick up a hobby. Crazy for Ewe's teach knitting classes if you are interested.

Have you thought of getting together with your friends since you would be "kids free" to enjoy some ladies night out?

You could always join a gym for a month....just to try it out. It would give you something to do after work.

Well I do enjoy the outdoors and fresh air.
It's just that me and firewood don't get along. I do enough labor work when the kid is around.
Maybe I will buy a new digital and go take some pictures. Then I will post them and we can see how many forumites I see out. I bet I could find a few at Wally World.

Going to Annapolis does sound enjoyable. I haven't been to the waterfront in like 10 years. I love going to the Renn Fest but that doesn't start till the kid comes back. :frown:
Which brings me to a bad memory of the Annapolis Mall. Last year around X-mas time, my daughter, me and a friend went to go see a movie there. Well we went to go outside from the 2nd level and walk down those steep stairs, well it seemed like it. So I guess I was smoking something that day because I thought I could ride that rail, in the middle of the stairs, down. What I didn't know at the time was that the rail was cold, my foot went the other way, I fell off the rail, and kind of tumbled a few steps. Then I was laying cockeyed on the cold steps looking up like WTH was that. My friend is laughing, my daughter is like, mom are you ok. I look up and there were some people at the top of the stairs looking. So I got hungry and we went to eat at Red Robin.

Note to self: Stay away from the rails, could become dangerous if you don't know how to ride properly.

There is a miniature gold course in Prince Frederick across from the Prince Freerick Firehouse. They also have batting cages. Once you're done there you can eat dinner at Jaspers. Another thing to do is go to Solomons and walk the boardwalk in the evening or just sit and people watch and watch the sunset. The College of Southern Maryland has concerts in the evening. Oh, I think I can get a discount through the MWR for here. This sounds like a possibility. Thanks.
Quite entertaining, however a little pricey. Oh, and you get to eat with your hands too (no forks) watch the soup is hot.
Your welcome.
