Playtex Drop Ins

Cereal doesn't jam them up, at least it didn't for me I guess it depends on the thickness and I had it at 3 or 4 tbsp for an 8oz, and they even make nipples for cereal use.

Dr. Brown's leaked for us.

When you're adding cereal, you just need to use a nipple with a larger opening.

I just wasn't sure if it would jam them tube things up. I haven't even read to see how the damn things work. Just heard that they were the best.

It didn't jam for us, and I used the level 2 nipples instead of level 1. We had to use cereal in his bottles when the doctor *thought* he had reflux. Turns out he does not and I immediately stopped the cereal. He's way too young for it.

They are the only ones I've used so I haven't compared them to anything but the washing of the small parts is really aggravating.
My son had reflux and these were the only ones I used so I'm not sure if they were helpful or not.

What does he have? I remember the thread you started about it but don't remember the end result.

Cereal for my reflux kid seemed to work well at first and then it seemed like it made him spit up more.

Anyone use them? What are the advantages/disadvantages?
My parents have suggested that I switch to these this time. None of my friends have used them so I cannot get any input from them. Thanks!

They are super convenient but what I REALLY like about them is that they don't contain that chemical that is dangerous(can't think of the name now) in plastics that is in the news now. Thumbs up to playtex for that!!:yay:
