This ad was under the Baby & Children section (under General Merchandise in the classifieds):

Just for ####s and grins, i called him - and he was "temporarily" at the holiday inn express in pr frederick due to a "messy" (read: assault) divorce. that place has the reputation of being a haven for drug dealers and losers. But that website certainly helps to weed out rif-raf

Yup- I don't mind if people have a blemish on their record...nobody is perfect. But I won't hesitate to check on people that will be around my kids often or at my home frequently. My family was personally affected by a sicko once.

Ads like this always make me think of possible scam. I answered a similar ad, someone looking for furniture for their daughter, single mom,,,,had nothing..etc... gave them some really nice items and found out later my husband overheard them talking about how easily it would sale....
He didn't know what the ad said so he didn't mention it to me at the time.

We have pathetic people like this down here that post on Freecycle. They whine about not having enough money to feed their kids and whatnot. I gave this chick a can of formula for her hungry 9 month old. I saw the next week an ad for her asking for food to feed her hungry dog. I was like WTF? Why would she get a dog if she could not feed her child? I searched her previous ads and saw over a dozen of them asking for formula and diapers in a six month period of time. Each time with a different sob story about a military man running out on her and her child.
