Please Help!!!!!!

I don't know what good this will do, but we need some kind of awareness.

My real name is Thomas Stalcup Jr. My dad's name is Thomas Stalcup. Today he got a phone call at work to this effect:

Caller: "Is this Thomas Stalcup?"
Dad: "Yes"
Caller: "Good, because I want you to know that I'm going to kill you. I know where you work now, and I know where you live, I saw all of your stuff in your backyard this weekend."
Dad: "Who is this"

Now the scary thing is that I had a yard sale this weekend, while my dad was working on his shed this weekend. So there is no telling who this guy is talking about.

We are scared out of our mind, and after calling the cops, they said there is nothing they can do, to an authenticate threat?

My parents live in Hollywood Shores, so please if you are down there and see anything suspicious, don't hesitate to call the cops.

This is not a joke, and if someone called my dad as a joke, then they are pretty f'd up. I have a wife and daughter to worry about, and my dad has his wife and 3 sons and 1 daughter to worry about.

I know its hard but I would ignore it. If someone REALLY wanted to kill you, I seriously doubt they would warn you first. Ya know?

Hmmm.........must be more to this story. Maybe dad has an enemy, maybe a disgruntled coworker, or perhaps a jealous husband after him. Buy yourself a gun, put up some no trespassing signs, and you should be okay. Make sure dad informs someone at work, to complete the paper trail.

Oh No TJ! Tell your Dad he can get a closed circuit TV system at BJ's for only a couple hundred bucks. If nothing else it will give him piece of mind.

Tell him to get a big dog and keep it inside.

If the Sherriffs department responded with this reply, have him call MSP direct. They normally handle situations like this in a more serious manner. Most people figure once it's been reported that's all they can do but that's false.

Last but not least, keep Tabby and the baby away from this situation. :huggy:

I would contact the phone company too, time of the call, number it came in on and such. Who knows if they can track it down, but they might be able to advise on how to mark a call from his end or setup something so future incoming calls are flagged.

Did you have a dispute with anyone during the yard sale or remember anything strange or different?

Let me know if you need any security help. I can help you rig p cameras and alarms. I am working on wiring up a night vision camera to face my vehicles since I have been finding handprints on my tinted windows. Dang no good low income housing Gotta F*%#ing love PG County.

:yeahthat: Ummmm Durrrrr..... the phone company keeps track of all recent calls. How do you think they do your bill?? This is a no brainer. Any competent detective would have the record by now.

Oh and I'd rush right to an internet bulletin board too and post the community we all live in. :duh:
