ok, so I guess I left out a few details.
My dad is an avid fisherman and hunter, he let me borrow one of his 50 shotguns incase someone comes around here trying to cause us harm tonight.
My dad was in the office by himself when this guy called. He was on the phone with a customer and the line beeped. He switched over, and of course when you do that, the number rarely shows up on caller ID. He tried *69, but it didn't work.
He called the phone company, and they said that they will get back to him in a few days, but they can only release the number to the cops, or the owner of the building (i.e. whoever's name the phone bill is in).
We have our guard dog (beagle, lol) on standby just in case. He normally barks at anything, so we should be good.
But the bad thing is that we are right on 235, so no one would even notice anything suspicious, my parents house, maybe, they live down in the shores.
My dad doesn't have any enemy's, he gets along with everybody really well.
Sure me and my wife have some enemys, but no one that would threaten us with death.
In response to starcat, I know that people joke about this #### all of the time, but when someone claimed they saw a gun in a kids backpack they didn't hesitate to shut down 3 schools. This isn't just someone saw something, someone was threatened and was told "i'm going to kill you".
If someone was joking, I will not let them get away with it. Trust you me, I love a good joke, but I'm not sleeping tonight, imagine how I would have felt if I got home today, and this guy couldn't find Thomas, so he settled for my wife and daughter.
I have to take this seriously.
As far as calling the MSP, I think my dad is past that. They promised to drive by tonight, but the guy never said that he was going to do it "tonight".
We don't have alot of info, as the guy was only on the phone for 20 seconds at the max.
