I keep seeing the same thing, thing is after the pot smoking two year old yesterday, I can't be surprised by anything.

Not the GS's!!!!!! My guy would NEVER hurt anyone....:sarcasm: I totally agree with Turbo...ANY breed can hurt/maim/kill. Especially a child. It just shows that you have to be safety-consious at all times.

Mine has a ferocious bark...the neighbor comes over (both my dogs are very familiar with him) and when my GS sees him at the door, he charges the door like he would kill him. As soon as the door opens, he's all over the neighbor, rubbing and begging for lovin's. I know to be concerned when he tilts his head to one side and makes a certain expression. It's as if he's saying....WTF? This isn't normal! Lemme have it!!!!!

I know how my dogs are and can tell when things change with them. My one female does not like hugs nor does she like any one in her face.... she also reacts in a high drive manor when anyone uses a high pitch voice or baby talks to her..... so I never let ANYONE GIVE HER HUGS OR LET HER GIVE ANYONE KISSES.... she has a tendency to nip people on the chin because she gets over zealous. I don't want anyone to take her "high drive" as an aggressive nature.

most all GSD's have 1 bark... and it sounds like Im gonna eat you.... :cds: It works in some cases.. and sucks in others.... :shrug: Same with my Bloodhound... he sees a dog..... he has his god awful bark/howl/something that comes out sounding like he wants to kill it... but I know he wants to play by his body language.... he front body is in down, but is up, tail is wagging and he is bouncing all over the place trying to initiate play.

What he does not understand is that he sounds like arse and he wants to :duel:. Makes me want to :smack: him..... I then have to apologize for him sounding and acting a fool!!
