Pool Party

Any pool recommendations for a kids birthday party in Charles County? I would really like something with a zero depth enterance and shallow area for the little kids.

Good luck with that. I'd think the liability issue with that would preclude anybody allowing a party with small children.

Really?? I thought a lot of public pools rented out for birthday parties. I know the YMCA by my house does and I would prefer to have it there, but to meet the family halfway I thought I would check out what is available in Charles County.

Lackey and North Point high schools both have indoor pools and LaPlata, McDonough and Stone have outdoor pools. You can get pool info. on the Charles County Government website

Not sure if they have a pool, but you could try the captial clubhouse in waldorf.

North Point High School

Kids soccer team has used this pool a couple of times for end of year party.

I've been to the Lackey pool for parties. Worked out well.

We just had a double birthday party for boy 2 & girl 1 at the Great Mills pool last weekend (after MANY reschedules). Very pleased with the staff and experience.
