I don't know who the "she" is you are referring to. I didn't follow the "train" of argument, I know people here will argue about anything or everything...

She is talking about " littlelady " she's not only about herself, but with her constant drug / alcohol fueled editing and or deleting her posts, unless you are watching it being done it gets kinna cloudy reading it the next morning..

Usually the "chicken places" are found in the "hood" more often. That along with the check cashing, who's the daddy DNA testing, payday loans, rent-a-rims, etc....

Stop it :smack:

But think who buys fast food in general - hint: not Biff and Muffy. Just like you're not going to see a Jamba Juice in a blue collar neighborhood. I can't relate to fried chicken being a "black thing" because there is nobody on earth who loves fried schicky more than this white girl right here

Pfffffhhhhhhhh..... Chaptico Market......The cook in open fryers like Churches..

I used to think Chaptico was the best until I had (of all places) Fast Stop in Chesapeake Beach... Not sure if they all make their chicken the same at all their locations, but damn is it good!

They do a good job there, but like so many take out food places, you have to many changes in employees that all cook chicken different.. No so much at Chaptico..
Like the chicken stands at Lexington Market, you know what your going to get everyday. MHO

I'll take Bojangles over Popeye's any day. Their chicken biscuits are to die for.

I've been disappointment with Chaptico Market chicken lately. The past three times the wife brought it home, it was way too salty. Something or someone had changed within the past year.

Dang,, That's sad to here..
Broasted Chicken is big out here, big pressure cooker like KFC,,,,They brine the chicken for a day or so in salt water, if whoever makes the brine uses to much salt, it comes out that way.. Our Eagles used to have that problem of fluctuations in chicken salinity, now it's ordered already brined and the quality and sales are way up on chicken night...

Ya know, I'm going to have to run this ghetto/Popeye's thing past some of my friends in Dunkirk who are movers and shakers in DACA. They'll probably get a petition together. Maybe I'll mention public sewer is being planned too. That'll really get their knickers in a twist.

We have a McDonalds, BK and now a Popeyes. I usually only see Popeyes in the ghetto, why is it in Dunkirk?

Soooo - 235 in Charlotte Hall is "ghetto"? Does Hagerstown count as ghetto?

I mean, that MIGHT explain all the Popeye's in Boise Idaho or Missoula and Billings Montana.
Or the couple in Anchorage.
Or the ones in Nebraska and the Dakotas.
Or the ones in Germany, England and France.
And the dozen or so in South Korea.

Popeye's are in just about any urban center you can think of.
It doesn't have to be "ghetto".

The KFC on Great Mills Road is ghetto fo sure

Well...Great Mills Road... But the on in Solomons is nice. And right next to Pepper's Pet Pantry, so I can be like, "Oh, I'm right here buying dog chow. Might as well pick up some wings."

There's this scary bodega in Belton, TX, right in the heart of Little Mexico, that has amazing fried chicken. It's nice and spicy, greasy and delicious. And then they give you a big ol' jalapeno to go with it.

The best fried chicken I've ever had is at Prince's in Nashville, and it too is smack dab in the middle of the ghet-to. What is it about crappy areas and stellar chicky? Non-whites apparently demand better fried chicken than us white folk do. We need to work on that.
