and as vrai and i have both pointed out, JWWB decided to give him away after he was her's for 2 years because of "personal reasons" but now she can magically take him back. thats kind of effed and all these rescue biathces would be all over her if she was anyone else.

If JWWB is willing to foster PC until a home is found that should say it all there. Many people have to give up their pets for more than just them being aggressive. That is not yours or anyone else's business.

Who cares what the reason was for getting rid of him? You couldn't keep him, and that's the way it was - stuff happens. But you should have taken him back to Tri-County like you agreed to do when you adopted him.

You're bent because Mike and Bay didn't contact you when they got rid of him, yet you did the exact same thing when *you* got rid of him.

Thats the issue here, not any interpretation of aggression, unruliness or whatever. JWWB not taking the dog back to the shelter has nothing whatsoever to do with the agreement made with Mike/Bay when they got the dog. We can argue til the cows come home about the dogs temperment, but this whole thread/bashing started because Catt/Jwwb were upset that they were not given a chance to rectify the situation by being notified, as was agreed to. If someone broke an agreement with me, I would have called them out,too. And for little Tommy, 'notify me if there is a problem, do not dump the animal' is the first thing Catt tells people when she arranges a give-away/adoption of an animal.

Either way, I still think you guys are turds for taking a dog to a kill shelter when you knew there were other options. I think anyone who would take an animal to a kill shelter has no business ever owning an animal. I just can't fathom why anyone would do that. If he was such a menace you should've just taken him to the vet and had him put down humanely.

what is right by the animal is subjective. Both of them gave it up fpr their own reasons. apparently mike and bay thought it was enough of a menace to drop it off at the pound. it was their dog and their call. just like it was jwwb's call when she let it go for "personal reasons"

Seriously Vrai, what is your beef about this whole issue? Boxers are dogs as any breed. What about the bad rap pits have? We have 5 pits at the shelter and they are loves. Lets talk about them? We have two Rotties that would eat you alive, but not KK nor I! We have two huskies you can't get two feet without wanting to eat you. But we have a dozen that will knock you down with love and kisses. One is half dachsie and bassett. Lexi jumps up and tries to kiss you. Shes 6 inches off the ground. You have no experience with boxers. You have no experience with pits. Come volunteer at the kennels with me for one day.
