Possibly moving to St. Mary's

I'm a student at St. Mary's College and I've been commuting for the past few years. A few friends and I are looking for a place to be close to school without living on campus. Can anyone recommend townhouses/apartment complexes that we should look into? The Great Mills/Lexington PArk area would be best.

I've found number for a few places, like Greenview West, but others are are little harder to find rental information on. Does anyone know how to contact St. George's Hundred? Any help is appreciated!

 I live near there, beautiful area!

I'd recommend an apartment though, if you're worried about cost.

Anyway, are you sure you don't want to live on campus? From what I've seen, the townhouses & suites are super super nice.

You may also want to look at Hunting Quarter in Callaway, there are normally townhouses for rent around there.

Well...

Actually, I'm a girl. And I don't want to live on campus because they charge $1500/mo per person, and I'd have to share the suite with five other people. I have a dog, too, and I don't think the college would be happy about that. :)

Thanks for what you've given me so far!

Try down in the Cedar Cove area. They just built three story apartments and the rent is more than reasonable. PM me and I might be able to hook you up with more info.:yay:

Town homes in St. George's Hundred are privately owned, so there is no one to contact.

There's some nice places with quite a few vacancies on South Coral Drive in the Park...think it's called Lexington Manor or something.....

I used to date a guy that owns 5 of those townhouses. He rents them out using a realtor. He used to do it himself, but it was getting to be a hassle.
Check with the realtors in the area.

The ones he is talking about is really nice. but they only have 3 and 4 bdms.
They have a club house with gym and pool. Its about 10 minutes to the SMC.

 Thanks everybody! I've got a couple months to check everything out so I'm really grateful for all the info. Now who can hook me up with a job in Calvert County? j/k :bubble:

On campus housing at SMCM is NOT $1500/month - I know, I pay for my daughter's room. It's about $1500 per semester for a dorm with 2 people. There's no way you can live in an off-campus apartment in SM for less than that.
