More news they might move my grandfather out of ICU if they can get a room cleared for him to move into. My mom said he's still really weak but atleast this am he at better than he did lastnight (that what grandpa said atleast). When I talked to my mom at noon she said he was having physical therapy and then was going to get lunch after that I guess. When I hear more later I will try and post if not I wil get on sometime tomorrow if anything has changed that is.

Good news they just moved him out of ICU and into another room where he can take phonecalls finally . They are also hoping to have him out of the hospital sometime next week but we arent 100% sure of that as of yet.

The other good news is I got to talk to him for a brief minute yesterday. He can't really talk on the phone right now though as any little bit of movement he does wears him right out (i.e moving from the bed to the chair or taking a short walk) plus he's very weak but only in time will he get his strength back.

My grandfather must be feeling better he called my grandmother this am and asked her to come check him out of the hospital. My aunt talked to him this am and told him he needed to get up and move around as much as he can w/out the physical therapist at his side. She said have my mom and grandma walk on each side of him and take a short walk that way they can see he can move on his own instead of going from the bed to the chair and that is it without the therapist. She also said if they see him steady on his feet they might start the stairs next and get it so he can leave the hospital. I think the reason he wants out is he is getting depressed (poor grandpa) but they say that usually happens after you have major sugery like he had.
Grandpa also did have a few complaints though he said yesterday they didnt even bring him breakfast til 11am have no clue if they even brought him lunch or not though. He also said the nurses take forever to get to him when he rings there station for assistance.
Hopefully today I will get to talk to him for a minute just to say hi to him again and see how he is. My cousin and I had a few talks while my aunt was gone and we both want my grandmother and grandfather to come live with us since he had his heart attack we all have gotten scared. If he moved here with us the whole family would be here except my one uncle who lives in VA and my mom who lives in MD but its only a 1hr flight from here to there for them instead of a 2hr flight from VA and MD to Florida. I hope my grandpa thinks of moving here as an option as my aunt said he is thinking about what he wants to do once he's home and well enough to move or do whatever.
I will write more this afternoon after I talk to grandpa if i get to talk to him today that is.

I talked to Grandpa for a minute yesterday and he told me he felt like ####. I really feel bad for him. I wish there was something I could do to make him feel better. I hate seeing him in pain.
My mom told me yesterday they gave him a walker so he was actually up a little more than he was the 2 days before as they hadn't given him one and he only time he really walked those days was when the physical therapist was there with him. I hope to get another update from my mom later today but not sure if she is going to call or not as of yet.

Thanks forever jewel. I just talked to my mom and she had said my grandfather had been up for 2 walks today and was just now resting (but the nurse walked in so I guess no rest for him til she leaves). I might call my mom again this evening and get another update from her and will update you all in the morning.

I think my grandpa might be released from the hospital today but I am not sure as I havent heard from my mom since 11am and she told me she would call after they got my grandpa home (that is if he gets to go home that is) and let me know how he is doing. I was told this am they took the oxygen off of him to see how he would do without it today and mom said this am so far so good. Hopefully he wont have to go home with oxygen. I think I also heard her say that an inhome nurse is going to come 3x a week or so to check his vitals and his oxygen level which I think is good and she also said that he will mostlikely go out for physical therapy a few times a week but not sure about that part as I bet the hospital will send a physical therapist to the house as I bet they dont want him out and being exposed to a lot of germs that are out there either.

Ok all one dumba$$ told me not to post anymore. Will you all tell me if you want me to or not. I mean I know quite a few of you have had my family in your prayers. There might be only a few more to come though but not 100% sure. Please tell me if you are sick of me posting. TIA
