Thanks, folks - I'm so very grateful for the supportive posts. We all have our personal demons, some of which are worse than others. Wenchy was pretty courageous to Google the facility and post the address here. I hadn't given the address to her, but I'm grateful for her efforts to solicit your support for me. It's very much appreciated.
I learned a long time ago to be less sensitive about what's posted about me - whether I post it or not. This entailed accepting the fact that there's no such thing as a secret, and that acceptance has led to deciding to live in such a way that I have nothing to be ashamed of. So I'm so very grateful to Wenchy for starting this thread.
Some folks need to be private people, which is why posting under a username is attractive to them. I understand that. Not all of us are like that, though, and since most of you don't know me personally, it's reasonable to err on the side of protecting things posted which could be considered personal.
My personal struggle is not at all an entirely personal thing; my experience and knowledge are intended to be passed on to many like myself, and I've already begun in certain venues to make things which were once secrets, semi-public knowledge, for the assistance of others. That's how it works.
