Prices are going to SKYROCKET on lithium battery powered equipment!

I'm not sure what you are trying to get across. Electronics and anything "powered" has always been a source of fires. This goes double when they are made as cheaply as possible in china. Lead acid battery powered devices catch fire, mains powered devices catch fire (I seem to recall toasters being a big contributor to house fires).

Lightning caused 22,600 structure fires last year. Do you have lightning rods on your house? Google says 1 in 10 million lithium batteries fail in such a way as to cause a fire. It's so rare in fact that every time it happens you hear about it on the news.

But go ahead, live your life in fear. Did you get all 13 covid shots too?
It appears that when a Tesla or battery powered car does burn they are very hard to put out .

(Multiple fire crews in Clearfield and Centre counties say it took them 2 hours and 12,000 gallons of water to extinguish a blaze Tuesday morning after a Tesla caught fire on Interstate 80.https ...)

(One recommendation from a Tesla representative is to continue water application on the vehicle for at least 30 minutes after the fire has been suppressed.)

The incidents are not happening every day, but when they do they require a lot of effort.
Why should I fear this. I don't own one. Have no intention of purchasing one. I have a cell phone and tools with lithium batteries. The instances are not so great that I live in fear but like with every danger it is always good to know what the danger is.
As for the Covid shot I ignorantly got the 2 original Pfizer shots , but you can bet your farm that I will not get another. I don't enjoy reading about those fully boosted getting Covid more frequently, or dying from any sudden death syndrome. I will bravely face Covid without the extra jabs.
