So now they have a handful of Russian teenagers working there. It has made a HUGE difference! They are super polite, and you get your food a lot quicker.

I'm not sure if they're just here for the summer, but I want them to stay there forever.

Great now if they could just do the same thing at the one in Upper Marlboro.

Imagine the kind of service you would get now days if it still worked like that. Your car would run out of gas by the time you made it to the window.

Or they'll push everyone quickly through the drive-thru to the outdoor car waiting area for an employee or security guard to bring your food to your car. (Branch Ave McD's).

The one up by home depot where the old tobacco barn used to be.

That one has never ever gotten my order right and they are slow as hell.

edit:: oh and for some reason they pick the person with the worst English skills to work the drive through speaker. I don't even stop at the speaker anymore I just drive right to the window.

I use to work McDonald's San Souci when i was in high school. When I worked I made sure I did my part real fast and effective. Couldn't say that about the others. Only thing that motivated me really was a few girls I worked with and that little pay check.

San Souci McDonalds is a disgrace to other McDonalds. If the young guy (who i got the impression was the manager)-WTF. I am all for teens working but with some adult supervision and guidance. It seemed to be a social gathering for teens and the workers(whom none was behind the counter, when i entered). The drive-thru is a joke; they take your order, have you pay and tell you to pull over--someone will bring it out. I think this is funny to them, because twice i had to get out of the car and go inside and the food still wasn't ready.

It took me about 3 times before i figured out that the kids wouldn't be eating McDonalds if this is what I have to deal with; I'll just dish out the $15 bucks for 2 burgers and 2 orders of fries and go to Five Guys.

Yeah, now San Souci is GARBAGE. The management is terrible. I know the guy who is the manager, he is alright, but arrogant and a novice. That's only 1 of the managers. It just depends on who is managing at that time.

I've been to the PF McDs a couple of times since this thread started (once during the day and once at 3 am) and during the day it was great, at 3 am, not so great, but still not like it used to be.
