I don't know about that. She seems like she's done, but just wants to do everything right so she doesn't get screwed. But she's pretty sad, so you might be right.

He sounds like such an a-hole though. Three days into her recovery from surgery he tells her all this. Maybe he figured she'd be too sore to hit him.

It seems that a lot of concerns in relationships have more to do with what folks have unresolved within themselves, looking for the familiar, then seeking to fix... somehow or another perpetuating a situation until it goes :poof: or deems itself worth fighting for... :shrug:
