It's an issue that really hits home with southerners because so many have slaves in their family history. Buck up and admit it was wrong so we can move along. Reparations? why not. It won't cost anywhere NEAR what Trump is closing down our entire government for, to give to Oligarchs who are already richer than they need to be. What do you think the entire city of Tulsa was worth before the whole thing was burned to the ground based on a lie? What do you think being able to buy a house in a nicer neighborhood if you could afford it would have been worth in resale value? Let's stop pretending this nation didn't do anything improper to a whole people just for some to make themselves feel superior. We can't keep living with hate, it only leads to self-destruction. I notice you are REALLY FOCUSED on black people. Why? What do you think they have done so terrible to YOU? This thread is openly racist and as a white male I am calling it out! I have been amongst racists everywhere in southern Maryland, and they think being white is some special club. It is, because racists make it so, but it is deplorable.
