Anyone that has died for tyranny would say the same thing. When I go to hell I'll be sure to ask Saddam and Hitler if it was worth it. I'll doubt if Saddam will have time to answer my questions though since "all people in heaven will be looked after by servants who are pure" aka virgins.

In places like North Korea and Cuba the government makes decisions for the people and the people have no say in who makes up that government.

Here we decide what government we want, and if the members of said goverment don't act accordingly they are out of a job next election day. We decide what level we want our government involved in our lives. What was necessary 50 years ago may be useless now and vice versa.

Progressive folks like PETA, ALF, EFL, Anti Globalists that state Property ownership is Violence againist people ............ heard in a 60 Min Interview of some protesters after the Seattle Riots protesting the G7 there back when downtown Seattle got trashed ....

The Dulles Greenway from the Airport to Leesburg ....... the same group has taken over the Dulles Access road,( 2 yrs ago I believe) in exchange for a big pay off to Va @ a later date .......

Roads get built faster and more efficiently without the Gov Involvement ..........

When I refered to tolls I meant the old toll roads, as in privatly owned and maintained, that predated modern highways.

All roads are already tolled, you just pay for it at the pump.

Not just the pump either though. Part of your MD and Federal taxes taken out of your paycheck go towards roads. Oh and don't forget the increased registration fees of your vehicle that helped pay for the Hughesville bypass.

Maybe, if you admire China so greatly you should give up your US citizenship and petition China to alow you to become a citizen there.

My guess is this person is probably young, or at least too young to remember Tiananmen Square. I was in grad school at the time, and most of my classmates were Chinese. They were at once thrilled, when it began - and in tears, when it was brutally crushed. Today, young people in China don't even know about that time, because it's been purged from their books.

This person is under the delusion that if people wanted to be free, they either would be, or they'd be fighting for it. And truth is, they have, and many died for it.

Who can forget this guy?
