Trump will spend about 3 seconds making a martyr out of the gal that got herself killed today. He will paint her as a victim in some public remarks and then he will never think of her ever, ever again.
I doubt he will even know what her name was, the name of her children if she has any.
She very likely felt empowered, important when she voted for him — perhaps twice — because he stroked her insecurities by saying words that sounded smart to her. By dazzling her with talk of “deals” and by being a New Yorker that was down to earth, unlike the fast talking New Yorker stereotype.
He was probably thinking about his golf game, which is impressive I will be the first to admit. It should be; he plays often enough.
She probably attended this event thinking she was going to get a few snapshots for her social media and get a few “likes” — and the associated dopamine boost.
She probably didn’t know the legal definition of sedition before today. She didn’t attend with the intent of being a seditionist. She had plans to watch Hannity back at the Hampton Inn where she was staying hoping she’d catch a glimpse of herself on national TV. She’d giggle and think to herself how hot she looked on TV. She’d recall the adage that the TV always adds 10 pounds and think that must be a myth — because “damn I’m slender”. And that is just after the Thanksgiving to Christmas gorge.
But instead she died wrapped in a MAGA flag with blood gushing from her neck.
