That's one reason I bought a Focus. It's a cheap car. It's not like I bought a Bentley or something. A car is transportation.

Sure I have, but jeezelouise! Like I told her at the time, better that she hit me in the garage at -5 mph than on the beltway.

I was backing out of my parking space, was a full car length out of the parking space, when a woman hit me. We bought the car in January, had survived up to today with no door dings, no scratches, not even a rock chip. Man am I PISSED.

So far I have 1 estimate (Hughesville Autobody Shop) of roughly $400.00 to repaint the front bumper and blend the scratch on the fender.

I checked the other auto paint threads, gonna call 2 guys and Car Craft(? I think that was the other recommended shop on this side of the river). Also gonna get an estimate from Auto By Design (L'town Ford recommended them, that's who they use).

The biatch is saying she had right of way. I have contacted my insurance company, and I have requested the tape from the sur. cameras from our security office.:burning:

Hey now, I like my Focus. It does exactly what I bought it for, and does not pretend to be something it's not. In other words, it provides cheap transportation w/ good gas milage, and since I know it's a cheap car, I don't try to drive it like it's a 911 Turbo.

Hey, don't sweat it. I need something small for commuting myself (2 hours each way now) but can't afford a car payment just now.



Besides, it has headlights so you can mow at night! :lol:
