I just told you my method for jumping...
Jump the green (PS ON) wire to any ground and it should turn the PSU on.

If your PSU does not turn on then im afraid its dead.

I know you said to jump the green to any ground, BUT what are you physically sticking into the green wire connecting it to the ground wire?

I think that was the problem I was having before with my previous attempt to jump, I could not get it to jump properly. (and that was way before I started having problems)

Normally a paperclip or a small gauge of solid wire.
If you use stranded wire MAKE SURE that you have no stray wires touching any other pins.
I normally jump to one of the ground wires next to it.

Right, so thats exactly what I did the 1st time, and I could not get the PSU to continually operate. It would flash on real quick, but then it would die and not stay on.

After I gave up and just plugged it into the MOBO and hooked everything up, it ran fine, so I'm not sure what the deal is.

I'll try again anyway.

What PSU do you have?
Ive heard of some cheaper PSUs that need to have a load for the PSU to power on. You can attach some fans to give the PSU some load.

All my PSUs that I own will work with the simple jumper method. Its what I do to prime my pump and bleed the air out of my loop. I jump an old micoATX PSU and just use the molex to turn my pump over and get the air out.

Its actually a decent PSU. Its an "OCZ GameXStream 700W ATX12V SLI Certified CrossFire Ready Active PFC Power Supply"

It's not available now, but it was around $130 when I bought it.

I will post them tonight when I get home. Since my computer isn't working it has been difficult to find a computer to upload the photos to, and I can't do it at work :0)

Those look like awful big pipes for that....

I just pour a glass of ice water on mine every few minutes. :yay:

haha nice. Yeah, they're 1/2" pipes. It was kinda surprising how much pipe i actually needed, it was probably close to 6 or 7 feet. The case is huge though.

Aww Cmon you can clean that up a bit!
Heres one or two of mine...
Completely hand built and wired by me.

I'll have to view them at home, I can't access the site at work, I'm excited to see them though. This was my 1st time to try to watercool, If I could do anything different, I would add a drainage loop and also shorten my pipes. I made two of them slightly too long and they're bending.

Im sure you will love those pics.
With a bit more cable management and some loop reordering you should be looking a bit better.
What are you using for fluid? Distilled and a silver coil works wonders. If you just have water in there its going to start growing stuff.

The only cables that are really exposed (besides the tubes) are my extra PSU cables. I really want to buy a modular PSU so that I don't have to have everything lying around.

I use Thermochill EC6 Non Conductive Coolant for the fluid.

Once you go modular you never go back. Trust me.
IDK about that coolant. I did the coolant thing once and once it stained my tubes and clogged up my blocks I got rid of it all and went with distilled and silver. My water is as clean as the day I put it in there. I only need to top off about once a year.

So whats the silver cable coil? Do you litereally mean a small coil thats inside one of the tubes?

Well worth it. Distilled is dirt cheap and with that coil it will last for as long as you need it to.
Ill never go back to overpriced coolants that claim they cool better
