Boston Terriers!

my friend has a boston terrier and they have a one year old who pulls on ears, sleeps with, plays with the dog while hes eating. its pretty amazing how much the dog loves the baby and is so good with it, the dog doesnt have a mean bone in its body, follows the kid around everywhere but doesnt get protective like if someone picks up the kid or another animal is near the kid. those dogs are also around 20 lbs. they just need A LOT of attention, wouldnt recommend a boston to someone who doesnt have a lot of time for a dog.

Only problem is that they are like having another kid around. I'm working on my fourth.
My two kids have been around her since they were six and eight - they adore her. Big enough to impress but sweet enough to love a little kid.

big dog

We have 2 english mastiffs that are excellent dogs. Our male, 180 lbs, has slept in our daughters room since the day we put her in her crib. He has always been so gentle with her..........tolerated the ear, tail, fur pulling very well. Never got upset over her taking his toys and was so gentle taking food out of her hand. I have always been more comfortable with my big dogs around little kids. My daughter is almost 8 now and when we take the dogs for a walk she walks him. He listens very well. Of course he is so old now he does not walk very fast anymore, lol....But every child should always be supervised with any dog, no matter what breed or size.
