Question about babysitting

This girl from my last job asked me if I wouldn't mind taking care of her son for her mon-fri. 12:15pm.-4:30p.m (more or less) We set the price at 150.00 every two weeks. She asks me this morning if i mind watching him this week from 11:15am-4:30pm? Should I ask for more than 15 a day since I am now watching an extra hour? My friend at the gym said I would be foolish not to ask for more and that the girl is taking advantage. I know everyone is tight on money and I was trying to do her a favor, since its no problem to watch my daughter and him as well. What should I do???

150 every two weeks is OMFG cheap. so I dont see a problem with asking for more.

Over 20 hours a month = day care and you have to be licensed. Nevermind, you're in Va and I don't know their laws.

one child besides my own is not considered daycare honey pie. but thanks.... oh and about being familiar with laws..highly doubtful you know va law if you reside in maryland. I wanted educated answers. Not trash.

Hey dipsh*t, since this is the southern MARYLAND forums, I figured you were asking about MD. That being the case, I mentioned MD laws. Then I saw that your dumb arse is in VA and not in MD. I then edited my post to reflect that. I did give you an educated answer. Not my fault you are dumb enough to ask about a VA topic in a MD forum.

I pay my lady $185 for 45 hours a week. I think is is $4.11 an hour or something? I don't know. I would say just ask for the extra hour. Its only $3 and you are doing her a favor. If she were to be taking her son to a day care center or to an in home daycare, she would be paying for a full day regardless of her hours and much more money. So, you do what you think is best.

Boy you people make things difficult. Regardless of whether I am in Va or not..its taking care of a past co-worker's child. Yes, I am doing her a favor...and yes the extra income is good. I was just wondering what you all thought I should charge her for an extra hour for the rest of this week. That is all... hunter...go get yourself another girlfriend. Seems like you need some pu$$y. BadGirl... why you gotta be like that? I needed to go and get my nails done girl. Stop trippin. I'll take ya out to dinner next time I come up! mwah*
