Yes. He doesn't hit my kid but he will take her TV away or send her to her room if need be.

When I was single, if I dated a woman who had kids, her reaction to me with her kids was a red flag for me. If it was clear I was ALWAYS going to be on the outside looking in with regard to her kids, I ended it. No way was I going to bear the responsibility and financial burden of RAISING a child only to have Mom intervene and tell me I wasn't his Dad and who the hell do I think I am.
