Yes, I have a Jack Russell - name is Jerry. Jerry the Jack. never a dull moment. My yard is mole-free, and my house is spider-free. He caught a bird for the first time. Not just any bird. A Baltimore Oriole. Never a dull moment. I'm thinking about getting another Jack Russell!

I burned out two vacuum cleaners cleaning up after Jerry's "adventures" (he loves to tear up newspaper, paper towels, toilet paper, etc). I now use a shop vac for housecleaning. He just made a mess in the five minutes I was typing. <<SHEESH>> But he pees in the cat litter box. Makes my cat mad. I live in a crazy house.

No, never a dull moment with a Jack Russell. Mine is 6 years old now and developing a bit of a mean streak. In the past month, he has bitten me and my oldest son. He didn't break skin but still....

And he refuses to go outside if it is cold outside. I have to carrying his growling ass outside and leave him.

They've been known to get a mean streak but that could be boredom or stress -- Go to JRTA.com and check the message boards for suggestions.

For the cold, I would suggest a dog-coat but you and I both know how long that would stay on!!
