The Government could do more about it if they wanted to. The oil companies are just making a profit, as is the Government. Gas is taxed more than you think.
It hasn't affected me any. If it goes up 10 cents a gallon, I pay a measly dollar.
I don't get all the hoopla over gas prices. Worrying about pennies.
I can't even imagine you were driving when gas was under $1.00!
Don't you live with your parents still? Get back to me when you have a house payment, property taxes and possibly a wife and children.
when I moved here in 2001, gas was .99 cents a gallon at the wawa up near Baltimore.

Just wait ... Charles County's getting ready to go all out.The tax on gas has also gone way up. In Maryland there is a .26 cent per gallon state tax. The .26 cent does not include any county gas taxes.
Actually, I remember when it was .99 cents.I can't even imagine you were driving when gas was under $1.00!

Lets see, since I have 2 Trucks a gas fueled and diesel fueled, I've been driving both, I had been driving the Turbo Diesel, but since Diesel was $4.09 in Bryans Road the other day, I was driving my 08 Silverado
