i can understand not wanting to pay for back to back vet visits, but all she really needs to do is buy some clippers, trim him down and take him to the vet. you can get the clippers for less than the cost of most vet visits, and it doesn't have to look nice if you are just shaving him down

I'm betting he can take the dog to the vet as is. I would sure hope the vet could move hair out of the way to look at the problem.

Why are you such a flippin' nazi when poeple don't follow your advice to a "T"?

What is your problem today? Not enough drugs?

Calling people a Nazi??
How juvenile is that!!!!:killingme

I dont care if she gets her FREE dog a rabies vaccine..

All I did was post about the free rabies clinic..and that there is no such thing as a free pet...
I do not expect anyone to vaccinate thier pets ..

I think you're just a tad off in this case. I think she was referring to getting the dog for free. And then having to pay vet bills, etc.

Yes, thank you Catt...that is what I was commenting about...but I guess not every one could understand that.

Again: there IS a FREE (to the pet owners) rabies clinic today.

The flyer I picked up at the Calvert County Health department says, in part,

"Within the past six months, two rabid animals have been identified in the Barstow area. the first involved a barn cat, the second involved a valuable horse.

....Clinic made possible by the Volunteer Efforts of the Chesapeake SPCA (301) 855-6950 and by the Calvert County Health Separtment Division of Environmental Health 410-535-3922 www.calverthealth.org"

Some folks might find this info helpful and may take advantage of the free rabies vaccine...like people who cant accord to go to the vet.....

Couldn't find it on their website. I thought it was the second Tuesday of each month at the fairgrounds. I'll look again and/or give them a holler.

2 minutes to searcha and find info....from Md. Department of Health and Mental hygiene
Rabies clinics are held from March through November on the
second Monday of each month at the St Mary’s County Fairground
in Leonardtown in or near the 4H Building from 6:00
